Kathryn was an amazing host. The house was perfect for a family visit to the area, it was spotless and had everything we needed. The cherry on top was the beautiful home made bread she made for us. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time at Carpe Diem. The tea and scones on arrive was such a treat after a long drive. We loved our beautiful room, comfy bed, and fabulous bath. We also had a nice veiw. Was close drive to town. Very generous and tasty breakfast included! Kathryn had some great local recommendations, we loved our visit to Tenterfield.

This place was immaculate with quality furnishings and an outstanding view. Everything you need was available and the host was friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend a stay here to explore the area or just relax. Kathryn’s place was exceptional and local wildlife an added bonus to the area Great to see places that still have hosts that interact with you and offer quality places and service

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The room was lovely and the bed super comfortable. The country breakfast was enormous and kept us going for most of the day. Thanks again Kathryn for a great stay.

Kathryn’s place was great! Very easy to find, a short drive to town and to many of the local sights. The Airbnb was comfortable (beds n pillows too) clean and had the cooking requirements we needed. Kathryn’s country kindness and hospitality was appreciated!! a beautiful location indeed

Beautiful house, peaceful & relaxing! We have been personally welcomed by Kathryn with freshly home baked bread! She even started the fire place for us as we checked in around 8pm and she knows it will be -6 that night. Wonderful host, she provided all our requests. The best host I ever had with Airbnb! Al

My friends and I had an amazing weekend at Kathryn’s! The house was clean and lovely and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets in the backyard and chucking the footy around. We also went for long walks each night – looking at stars and enjoying the peaceful area! Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a restful time away. Kathryn was super friendly and made us the most delicious fresh bread!

Kathryn has this place extremely neat, tidy and very clean. It feels homely, easy and very comfortable. We especially loved the aspect and location, quick drive into town; definitely the best side of town in terms of acreages. We enjoyed the fire place and the afternoon light that filtered into the back living space and then sitting out the back to watch the western sky/amazing sunsets. Kathryn was friendly, helpful and shared local knowledge to assist us with our sightseeing choices.

A lovely getaway just out of Tenterfield in this new house. Plenty of room, everything you need, lots of firewood, beautiful views, and a homemade loaf of bread was just a lovely touch.

Thank you Kathryn for being a wonderful host. Your friendly welcome made even better with a fresh loaf of homemade bread! The cottage was spotless and came with plenty of firewood to make our stay warm and cosy. We will definitely be back! Anyone wishing to explore Tenterfield this is certainly the place to stay, lots of space with a beautiful rural outlook just minutes to town.

We stayed for a night at Kathryn’s guesthouse and have only words of appreciation for her. Kathryn is so welcoming and prompt and precise in her communication.Her guesthouse is immaculate, rooms are neat and clean, bed is very comfortable, the guesthouse has a library and a pool room and the fireplace is the heart of the house and keeps the place warm in winter nights. We were welcomed with warm scones on arrival and a very tasty and hearty breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset and also the frosty morning views from our room. Kathryn booked dinner at the commercial hotel and guided us about things to do around. If you are looking for a country side experience this is the pace to go.

Kathryn was an amazing host and met us on arrival with a fire going, fresh bread and gave us a tour of the house. Kathryn went above and beyond for us and even made reservations at an amazing restaurant in town (Stone fruit!!). The house is super modern, extremely clean and it has everything that you will need from a comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen, to full stocked and cosy fire place, to a beautiful sunset each evening!! If your looking for a country side get away that is quiet and peaceful, I would recommend staying here. An added extra bonus; the town is about an 8 minute drive with cute places to shop, eat and there are great coffee places to choose from. Also there are beautiful national parks to walk and explore. I would recommend this place to anyone and my friends and I will be returning in the near future. Thank you Kathryn for being a great host.

We had such a fantastic time staying at Carpe Diem Tenterfield. The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable. The sunsets are breathtakingly beautiful. Kathryn was a very friendly helpful host. I highly recommend a beautiful country escape at Carpe Diem.

Kathryn was a wonderful host from the initial booking through to when we said goodbye after our visit.
The house was lovely, warm and welcoming. Tenterfield turned on the charm for the Autumn Festival and the local community spirit was fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend this home for a rural retreat, but still close enough to town to enjoy everything it has to offer.

We had been holidaying for just under 3 weeks when we arrived at Kathryn’s place. It was NIRVANA !
Storm clouds were brewing outside but there was undercover parking for 4 vehicles.
Kathryn greeted us on arrival – she had phoned about an hour before to ensure she would be there when we arrived.
The scones (she had baked for us) + tea and coffee on our arrival were very much welcomed.
Kathryn provided us with local knowledge of things to do and also arrange a table at a restaurant for the evening.
The cooked breakfast and freshly baked bread were great.
This property would be great for 4 couples to have a really great weekend + stay.
We will be back.

Beautiful location on a small hill, just outside of town. The house overlooks the local farmland and is surrounded by the great dividing range. Kathryn is a lovely host who takes a lot of pride in her property and is always happy to say g’day and give advice on what is happening in the local region. Definitely recommend.

What an absolutely beautiful home. If you are after a very relaxing quiet rest this is the place for you. It is only about 4 mins out of town and just perfect in every way. Kathryn is just lovely and very helpful.
